BeardBrand is a men’s grooming company that is helping men keep on growing by providing education and tools for urban beardsmen to master their morning routine. We’ve found that confidence starts with self investment, and allows men to do great things for their families, co-workers, and community. They are working to break down the negative stereotypes that surround bearded men, and show the world it’s the man who matters, not the way he looks.

Beard grooming doesn't need to take all morning. In this video Jeff shows you how to quickly and easily take care of your beard and have it looking it's best with minimal work. To use this technique all you'll need is a comb, boar's hair brush, and a little bit of beard oil. You'll start with a clean, wet beard and use the comb to detangle the beard. You can start with a wide tooth then move to a finer tooth comb. After that use a boar's hair brush to brush through the beard and have it follow the neck line. After a good brushing, then your next step will be to fluff out the beard with the trick being to go both sideways and up and down. Finally you'll want to lay down the beard. The key to this movement is this time you won't follow your neck line. Essentially you'll go in a straight line from your cheeks down to the ground.

In the second video Eric is here to fill you in on not only what this wonderful product is, but how you apply it to your beard!

The length and thickness of your beard will determine how much beard oil you need to use. As with most oils, a little will go a long way. The average beard requires 6 drops a day, which means that a one-ounce bottle will last you about 100 uses, or approximately three months. Here are Eric's personal recommendations for beard oil use:

Beardless – 1 month 3-4 drops Daily treatment
1 – 3 months 4-6 drops Daily treatment
3 – 12 months 6-10 drops Daily treatment
12 months + 10 drops and up Daily treatment

Master Barber Shares The Secrets Of Beard Oil

In the third video Master Barber, Mahesh Hayward, discusses the many uses and secrets of beard oil.

Beard oil typically comes in small bottles that range from 1 to 3 fluid ounces in size. Each beard oil company uses different caps or pouring mechanisms. Beardbrand bottles have an orifice reducer inside the bottle, which leads to easy dispensing of our awesome beard oils.

Pouring beard oil is definitely not rocket science, but it can be tricky. The key is to turn the bottle over and tap the bottle into your open hand. The goal is to not waste any of the oil. If using a bottle with a dropper, make sure to put the droplet directly back into the bottle vs. resting it on a countertop. It’s important to prevent contamination of your oils.

Now that you have our super awesome beard oil in your palm, you’ll want to rub it between your hands to even the distribution. The next step is to work the beard oil into your skin, then onto your beard. Make sure you don’t neglect the mustache area. I prefer and recommend applying beard oil while your skin is still warm and damp from a recent shower. The pores are open and the beard oil will work itself into the skin.

If you have any extra, I suggest rubbing it onto your elbows, neck, or into your hair. Beard oil is designed to make the skin healthy and healthy skin results in a healthy beard.

Surprisingly, one of the most frequent questions I get is how to apply beard oil and what it's for. Basically it's to keep your beard shiny, healthy, and tangle free. It's a leave in conditioner that'll soften up your beard. A good beard oil will be designed for the beard and contain natural ingredients like jojoba oil, argan oil, almond oil, and/or a few others.

Applying beard oil is one of the easiest things to do. Simply work the beard oil into your hands, rub it into your face and beard, and be awesome.
