Our journey began over 10 years ago, driven by a founder with a shared passion to create positive change in both the world and people’s lives. Her Bulgarian roots have always inspired the foundation of a company that fuses ancient tradition with modern science, aiming to make a lasting impact on health.
From the very beginning, our goal was to craft an extraordinary cup of herbal tea that not only supports health but also promotes conservation and showcases the true brilliance of nature.
The Balkan region boasts a rich tradition of herbs and herbal remedies, with Bulgaria ranking 4th globally in herbal diversity and export. The practice of using medicinal plants dates back to the Ancient Thracians and has been passed down through generations. What sets our company apart is the unique way we blend five key resources.
Embrace the power of herbal tea for a healthier lifestyle, while honoring centuries-old traditions and the wisdom of nature.
By hand and by people. After tearing off the relevant part when collecting the herbs, all its cells are still alive. The plant in this condition contains a large amount of water. In order to keep the cell alive, it is necessary to dry the herbs to the point where they still contain water, but it does not cause them to decompose and ferment.
Herbs are dried under special natural conditions. They are room temperature dried to preserve the quality and substances in the plant. In order for the plant to preserve all its properties and not ferment or degrade, it needs to dry naturally but away from direct sunlight. Room drying is the best possible drying for a herbal plant.
Chopped in small pieces, making sure they are able to be packed in tea bags or loose leaf, however, to the right size not to make them like a powder. Chopping of the herbs determines if the healthy qualities of the herbs will be preserved. Pollens are quite small and if they are chopped in even smaller pieces, they fall out and don't make it in the tea bag.
Packed without adding any artificial substances added, as pure herbs are quite strong in smell and taste. The packaging materials are clean, and when placing the herbs, they are not pressed, but placed loosely. They should not get wet, therefore the transportation of herbs is carried out only in sunny weather.
Tea is prepared in hot water, which activates the process of diffusion so all substances are dissolved in water. They are active and the body recognises them, and absorbs them “intelligently” (meaning that they naturally know where to go within the body). Herbal substances are still active and are very close to the human processes so they “know” where to go within the body.
For a herb to thrive, five essential elements play a crucial role in its creation process. When combined, these elements create the ideal conditions for healthy plant diversity. Fortunately, these perfect conditions are found uniquely in the Bulgarian region. While these elements can be found in many areas around the World, what truly sets Bulgaria apart is its abundance of microelements that are rare or absent in most other parts of the world. This natural richness makes the Bulgarian region an unparalleled source of exceptional herbs, contributing to its global reputation for herbal diversity and quality.
There are 39 mountains in Bulgaria. Herbs grow in the mountain regions mostly, where the conditions are right for the development of healthy plants. They grow freely, far from any industrial or agricultural grounds. This guarantees the purest air in the high mountain grounds above 2000 m. altitude with the perfect climate conditions, where herbs are high enough for pure are, but low enough to avoid the freezing conditions and are able to be pollinated by bees (that live in warm conditions)
The great climatic diversity in Bulgaria has a different effect on the water quantity and the regime of surface runoff and the level of underground water. In Bulgaria, the mountains and especially the mountains in Rilo - the Rhodope region have the greatest amount of fresh & clean water. Mountain regions are very distant from the agricultural industry and hence they remain clean and uncontaminated.
The Bulgarian honey bee was formed under the influence of specific conditions and has been spread throughout the country since time immemorial. In the conditions of the country, the families of the Bulgarian honey bee develop well and do not show a great tendency to swarm. In the climate conditions , the local bee withstands both high and low temperatures and winters well. Bees from the Bulgarian bee guard their nest well, and no propensity to steal from foreign families has been noted.
The most common soil in Bulgaria is Black earths, which provides large amounts of organic matter. It has a very powerful humus horizon. The humus content is usually 3-5%, but the humus layer is 40-80 cm thick. The formation of soils is the result of a complex interaction of a number of factors. Soil diversity in Bulgaria is a prerequisite for the development and significant diversity of natural and cultural vegetation.
Rocks below the soil in Bulgaria are rich in microelements, that move to the soil and enrich with them plants that grow in that soil. One of the richest rocks in healthy elements is ZEOLITE. Zeolite is a natural mineral that has no equal in removing toxic chemicals. Tiny particles of the negatively charged zeolite act like magnets to attract positively charged particles such as 99.9% of heavy metals, free radicals, radiation and organic chemicals .
The life-giving essence of Bulgaria flows through its herbs, providing health, strength, beauty, vitality, and love. Bulgaria’s unique climate, with its diverse conditions, creates the perfect environment for growing a wide variety of herbs. This is why Bulgaria ranks #1 in herbal diversity in Europe.
We want to offer you the chance to experience something truly special.
